Angel, founder of the TBH crew, started his career in the early eighties as a graffiti writer and as an illustrator he developed a characteristic comic style.

Starting out with coffee at one of his favorite spots in his hometown we talked about his Turkish heritage and the origin of his musical interest. To surprise him Supercharged took him to a place he wasn’t expecting and actually a place he had never been before.

What began in 1995 as a magazine for underground subcultures like skate- & snowboarding is now worldwide known. Unique to the magazine is that each issue has a one-of-a-kind design with a different lay-out, logos, icons and fonts.

Our correspondent in Berlin Rogier looked up the founder of Lodown and set him down to talk about the magazine and it’s diversity.
